NPG Jazz: Collins & Barbarella

  • Paisley Park 7801 Audubon Road Chanhassen, MN, 55317 United States (map)

You are invited to the NPG Music Club this December for NPG Jazz, our new live music series. To kick things off, we invited Paisley Park favorites, Julius Collins and Tommy Barbarella. As a member of the original incarnation of the New Power Generation, Tommy Barbarella worked closely with Prince for much of the 1990s. Tommy is joined by Julius Collins, the dynamic voice of their wildly popular band, Greazy Meal. They will explore the classic soul music that shaped them and take a deep dive into Prince’s catalog. Act fast, because our premium lounge seating and bistro tables will not last long.

About "NPG Jazz"
Jazz as an original American artform, has undeniably influenced popular music. Prince, like jazz, is known for masterful instrumentation, experimental style, and ability to encompass multiple genres. Jazz is as uniquely authentic as Prince and we are proud to bring them together here at Paisley Park for NPG Jazz.

A Note About NPG Jazz Seating

NPG Jazz is elevating the lounge atmosphere in the NPG Music Club. To foster an intimate environment, guests have the option to select from three different ticketing options. Keep in mind, that even though a lounge or bistro table can seat up to a certain number of guests, you may choose how many people occupy that space. Use the floor plan and the named sections to identify which area you would like to reserve.

Lounge Seating: Reserve an entire couch that can seat up to six people.

Bistro Tables: Our bistro tables are available in three sizes, seating two, four or six.

General Admission: Ticket holders with General Admission will have the option to choose from three different sections. These seats are available on a first come first served basis and will not be reserved throughout the evening.

For this event, we will require proof of a full series of Covid-19 vaccination or proof of a negative Covid-19 test taken in the prior 72 hours. Masks also must be worn by all staff and attendees, at all times.

Proof of vaccination may include a physical card or a photo of a complete vaccination card that matches the patron ID. Proof of a negative test may be a printed or digital test result that matches the patron ID. Children under 12, who cannot be vaccinated, can show a negative test to attend. People with a medical condition or closely held religious belief that prevents vaccination can attend with proof of a recent negative Covid-19 test.

Taking this step ensures the safety of our staff and visitors and minimizes risk and the spread of the virus.

Limited parking available on site. See additional Paisley Park’s COVID-19 safety guidelines here.
